Found naturally in small amounts in the cannabis plant, and behaves similarly to D9-THC, but with a much higher affinity for CB receptors. As a result, D9-THCP is roughly 30x more potent than D9-THC. Hexahydrocannabinol (HHC) is a phytocannabinoid that naturally occurs in trace amounts in Cannabis Sativa, and which we derive entirely from federally-compliant natural hemp.

Consumers and researchers report that HHC induces less potent effects than delta-9 THC. Similar structural analogs of HHC have been demonstrated to bind to the CB1 receptor and produce cannabinoid effects in animals, with the 9R-HHC diastereomer being much more active than 9S-HHC. While HHC has been shown to bind to the CB1 receptor, it binds with weaker affinity than delta-9, which supports the premise that it is less intoxicating than delta-9 THC.

D9-THC is the most naturally prevelant psychoactive compound in cannabis.

D9-THC provides the range of euphoric effects associated with recreational cannabis use. It provides a baseline for comparison when describing the effects and potency of other cannabinoids, especially for phsychoactivity. D9- THC works by engaging the body’s cannabinoid receptors, which are found throughout the brain and nervous system.

D9-THC is also used medically for the treatment of a range of conditions including neuropathic pain, inflammation, anxiety, PTSD, appetite disorders, sleep issues and cachexia.

This hydrogenated derivative of CBD is about 1.5x more potent than CBD.

It is not psychoactive like cannabinoids such as THC and HHC. With less binding activity, the the initial effect is a quick onset of a mild ‘head buzz’ that ends quickly and leads into relaxation.

CBN has been shown to act on both the CB1 receptors found primarily in the central nervous system and the CB2 receptors found primarily in the peripheral nervous system. It is non-psychoactive in small amounts, and is sought for its sedating and anti-inflammatory properties, being popular for helping with insomnia. Human and rat studies do suggest that CBN may be slightly intoxicating and sedative.

CBN is also thought to significantly potentiate the effects of other cannabinoids and increase the intoxicating effects of Delta-9 THC. This is the acid form of THC, and since its molecular structure prevents it from binding with CB receptors, it is not intoxicating unless it is heated to convert into THC. Studies are currently being done on the efficacy of THCA in oral form to treat diseases, seizures and inflammation without psychoactivity. And studies suggest that it may have neuroprotective properties.

The hydrogenated derivative of THCA, it has effects similar of HHC. When consumed orally it bypasses the first pass metabolism, making the effect more potent. No studies have been performed on its effect and safety when inhaled. As yet it has no known medical applications.

D9-Tetrahdrocannabihexol is a naturally occurring rare cannabinoid which is roughly 10x more potent than D9-THC. As it is only beginning to be properly studied, its medical effects are not yet known.
